The Best Evidence from Research: The Gateway to Excellent Care

The Research Consortium of the Nursing Consortium of South Florida invites nurses from clinical, educational and research settings and students to come together for a day of dialogue on the latest nursing research. The conference, hosted by the Baptist Health South Florida, will be held at Parrot Jungle Island.
General admission tickets may be purchased online for $75.00. Students with current IDs may attend for only $55.00. To purchase tickets online, please click here. This information will be used to produce name badges and continuing education contact hour certificates.

The Conference learning objectives are:
1. Describe the relationships linking research, evidence based practice, and safe quality care.
2. Describe clinical health care issues and the contribution of research to solution of those issues.
3. Describe research strategies employed to address clinical or health care issues.
4. Identify two models that could be used to integrate nursing research into practice settings.
5. Identify two strategies that nurse researchers can use to bridge the practice-research gap.
