The Nursing Consortium of South Florida is a 501c(3) not-for-profit publicly supported organization, that since its founding in 1997 has brought together area hospital Chief Nursing Officers, local nursing school Deans, and other nursing leaders to assess regional workforce issues and institute programs to address workforce needs.

Philanthropic support can help ensure a sufficient number of nurses for South Florida.  Contributions may be targeted to support existing Nursing Consortium of South Florida programs or to a new project, including:

  • Supporting expansion of Future Nurse Clubs with a grant toward material development,
  • Contributing to a Nursing-Next Generation Scholarship Fund,
  • Supporting the tracking of Day in the Life of a Nurse program participants
  • Supporting the development of a Nursing Leadership Development Academy program

Donations may be made anonymously. Otherwise, the Consortium will recognize gifts by issuing press releases to major media outlets and local professional nursing associations.

For additional information or to discuss your interests, please call Executive Director, Ralph Egües at egues@nursingconsortium.us or 305-669-9644.
