s a member or prospective member of the Nursing Shortage Consortium of South Florida (NSCSF), you are well aware of the seriousness of the ongoing nursing shortage. By 2010, the United States will be more than one million nurses short.

But thanks to members like you, we are developing comprehensive strategies to increase the supply of nurses in the workforce, such as:

  • Creating long-term relationships with students, parents, counselors, and educators to inform them of nursing opportunities
  • Collaborating with schools to increase awareness of nursing as a career choice
  • Obtaining funding for nursing scholarships

In this section, you will find additional information on the consortium, NSCSF membership, and its activities. Just browse the user menu and click on any one of the options to learn more.

Interested in joining NSCSF?
Membership is open to educational institutions, nursing schools, hospitals, home health agencies, hospices, staffing agencies, as well as other professional nursing organizations. To find out how your organization can become a NSCSF member, contact Ralph Egües at 305-669-9644, or click here to send him an email message.
